Irish favourites Therapy? and London born Tinchy Stryder are among the latest confirmations for Oxegen as new on site facilities are introduced.
The two outfits, who are set to delight the home crowds at Europe's Best Festival of 2008, are to be joined by German electro wizard Boys Noize, who is now penciled in to set the Dance Arena alight on the Saturday (11 July).
Blur, Snow Patrol, Kings Of Leon and The Killers will headline this year’s festival with the likes of Pet Shop Boys, Nine Inch Nails, The Specials, Lily Allen, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds also on the bill.
Being Europe's favourite, as voted for at last year's UK Festival Awards, is obviously not quite enough for the Irish bash which has revealed a few tweaks to it's site, beginning with a series of luxury camping options added to the green campsite.
These are to be put in place by deluxe camping kings boutiquecamping.net and will include four to six berth tipis, designer beach huts and the even wackier boutique ship's cabin and western style bow top wagon.
On the foot front, punters will be able to give their mud-sodden shoes to third world countries in exchange for a brand new pair of wellies whilst a new set of personal lockers will be at hand for all those valuables.
Oxegen 2009 will take place at Punchestown Racecourse, County Kildare from 10-12 July.
Tickets for this year’s event are on sale now priced at €224.50 (including booking fee).
Organisers have also confirmed that they will be rewarding loyal fans who bought early bird tickets before 31 December 2008 with €20 cashback onsite.
