Terry Hall, lead singer of The Specials, has said it "would be nice" if the band performed at Glastonbury next June.
The ska troupe, who recently reformed for their 30th anniversary tour, are likely to appear at a number of festivals next summer after reuniting to play Bestival in September.
Speaking to BBC 6Music about Glastonbury Hall said: "That would be nice. The last time I played at Glastonbury was 1983, 1984 so it would be nice to do it."
Terry Hall and Special's guitarist Lynval Golding both joined Lily Allen on the festival's Pyramid Stage back in 2007 for a rendition of their track 'Gangsters'.
Glastonbury Festival 2009 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from 24-28 June with Bruce Springsteen, Blur, Coldplay, Klaxons and Kanye West all rumoured as appearing.
