The Killers are set to headline this year's V Festivals.
The Las Vegas quartet, who last headlined the events in 2007, will return to top the bill this August.
Speaking to the Daily Star, bassist Mark Stoermer said: "We are indeed headlining the V Festival and we’re lucky to be doing it on our third album – things keep getting better for us. We will have the biggest lighting show we’ve ever had – it costs twice as much as our last tour.
"When you’re playing big places you’ve got to give something to everyone, including the fans at the back. We’ve become more refined as a live act."
Coldplay and Blur are both rumoured to be appearing at the festivals.
V Festival 2009 takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffs from 22-23 August.
Tickets for the festival go on sale 6 March.
