The Fall, The Joy Formidable and Benjamin Francis Leftwich are among the first 50 acts confirmed to play this year's SWN Festival, with the event also running for an extra day.
The Cardiff festival will take place in various venues around the city on 20 – 23 October, incorporating the Sunday for the first time.
With around 200 artists set to play the festival, Herman Dune, And So I Watch You From Afar, Ben Howard, The Victorian English Gentleman’s Club, Daughter, Lets Buy Happiness and Eagulls are all on board.
Among Brothers, Apostles, Ashtray Navigations, Al Lewis, Barefoot Dance of the Sea, Battlekat, Bleeding Heart Narrative, Chailo Sim, Colorama, Creatures of Love, Dots.filmband, Echo Lake, Effort, Elephant and Elephant Stone are also part of the initial announcement.
Gavin Osborn, H Hawkline, Houdini Dax, Jen Jeniro, Joseph & David, Mammal Club, Masters In France, Mowbird, Olympians, Pandas and People, Patterns and Rapids! are all slated to perform as well.
Red City Radio, Right Hand Left Hand, Samoans, Team Sports. The Cut Ups, The History of Apple Pie, The Keys, The Method, Theo, Town, Trwbador, Ultrahumanitarian and Zervas & Pepper complete the list for now, with more expected soon.
Four-day wristbands for SWN Festival 2011 are available now, priced at £49.50, with day tickets also available, ranging from £10 – £20.
