The Enemy have been confirmed as a last-minute addition to the V Festival 2011 line up.
The group, famed for tracks like ‘Had Enough’ and ‘We’ll Live and Die in These Towns’, will play the Under Cover stage over the weekend.
Speaking about the news, Andy Hopkins from The Enemy said: “Looking forward to banging out some tunes at V!”
This is further to yesterday’s (Tuesday) news that Hard Fi have also been unveiled as special guests at the dual-site festival.
Arctic Monkeys and Eminem are this year’s headliners, with Rhianna, Plan B, Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal, Chase & Status, Tinie Tempah and Razorlight among the other acts set to play.
V Festival 2011 takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford on 20–21 August.
While V Festival tickets for both sites are sold out, secondary ticketing site Viagogo has Weekend Tickets for Stafford going from £130 and Chelmsford from £142.
Each ticket bought from them is guaranteed or they will give fans their money back.
