A record number of fans have snapped up tickets earlier and faster than ever before for the tenth T in the Park, which takes place in Balado on July 12th and 13th with REM and Coldplay headlining.
Ticket sales today show that T in the Park 2003 is set to be the fastest sell-out in the festival’s history, with tickets selling over twice as fast than in 2002 and sales currently standing at double the figure of last year’s event at this point, and triple that of 2001!
With Scotland already enjoying glorious sunshine, the 52,500 revellers per day may well be able to party in the sunshine while watching 100+ bands, including headliners Coldplay and REM plus The Coral, Zwan, The Streets, the Charlatans and Idlewild to name but a few.
Geoff Ellis CEO, of promoters DF Concerts says: “This definitely looks set to be the most successful T in the Park ever, which is extremely fitting considering it’s the festival’s tenth birthday. I think fans, new and existing, are excited about being a part of this special year, especially as they know we’ll have a few surprises to announce yet.
“With a good chance of sunshine at this year’s event, we can only advise fans who do not already have their tickets to get in fast because at the current rate of sales, the festival is likely to sell-out well in advance.”
Tickets for T in the Park are still available at specially discounted prices until Sunday 13 April, from the Virtual Festivals Ticket Store.
