Tickets for this summer's T In The Park festival went on sale and subsequently sold out in less than 90 minutes this morning (Friday).
Organisers have confirmed one of the event's most impressive line-ups ever with Muse, Kasabian and Eminem set to headline alongside The Prodigy, Jay-Z and The Black Eyed Peas.
Festival Director Geoff Ellis believes it is a combination of a great choice of acts and recession-busting times which has made this year's event so popular. He said: “We know that we have an exceptionally strong line-up for 2010 but you can’t be complacent, it’s still momentous for us to sell out now as it was the first time we did and we’re really delighted.”
“It’s great to know 85,000 music lovers think we’ve made the right choices and can’t wait for July 9th, and we can’t wait to put the best T in the Park yet on for them.”
T In The Park 2010 will take place at Balado Airfield, Perth in Scotland from 9-11 July.
