Sharleen Spiteri, lead singer of Texas said: "I love forests, they are a national treasure. We can't wait to perform all our hits at Westonbirt Arboretum this summer”.
The legendary Status Quo will be appearing in Thetford Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk Thursday 9 June.
Francis Rossi of Status Quo said; “Forestry Commission Live Music is a fantastic annual event that has become a statutory part of the UK’s live music calendar. We love to bag a trip to the woods each year. We are pleased to make Thetford part of our touring plans for 2011 particularly as we had a great gig performing to a capacity crowd last time we were there.”
Tickets are priced at £34 (plus including booking fee) and are on sale on Friday 11 February 2011.
