St. Vincent, First Aid Kit and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore are among the latest names for Oya Festival 2012.
They are joined on the bill by Norwegian rap duo Karpe Diem, who will play the event on Saturday 11 August. First Aid Kit, buoyed by the success of their new album ‘The Lion’s Roar’ will play on the same day.
It’s also been revealed that the previously-announced Bon Iver will play on the Sjosiden stage when he takes to the stage on Saturday.
Moore will play on Wednesday 8 August, with his set likely to draw heavily from last year’s Beck-produced solo album ‘Demolished Thoughts’.
St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, whose latest effort ‘Strange Mercy’ was a feature of many Albums of 2011 lists, plays the day after, on Thursday 9 August.
The newly-announced acts join the likes of Bjork, The Stone Roses, Florence & The Machine, Refused, Ane Brun, Feist, Azealia Banks and A$AP Rocky on the Oya bill for this year.
Oya Festival takes place in Oslo, Norway from 7-11 August, and celebrates its 14th year in 2012.
