Walthamstow pop star Spark covered Eminem and Rihanna's hit single 'Love The Way You Lie' at Evolution Festival today.

Taking to stage in gold leggings and a leather jacket, the 18-year-old performed the cover halfway through her set.
Introducing the song as “one I think you’re going to know“, Spark (real name Jess Morgan) invited the crowd to sing along.

She also played her singles ‘Revolving‘ and ‘Crave‘ amongst a handful of others in a well-received early afternoon set.

Speaking shortly after after Spark had left the stage, 16 year-old-fan, Lizzie Bell said “Spark was amazing today. She’s just so cool and I loved her version of ‘Love The Way You Lie'”.

Evolution Festival 2011, Newcastle, will feature performances from Plan B and Tinie Tempah later this evening. Check back on Virtual Festivals for all the latest Evolution Festival 2011 news and reviews, plus be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook for more updates from the festival.
