Brazilian metallers Soulfly, lead by Max Cavalera, are one of several bands newly confirmed to play at this year's Sonisphere Festival, while the first batch of comedy acts have also been announced.
The melodic New York hardcore crew Polar Bear Club are now booked in to perform in front of the Knebworth crowd as well as Brighton’s Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster who will be making a very welcome appearance.
Other bands joining the line up are Delain, Karnivool, Heaven’s Basement, Bigelf, Turisas, Katatonia and The Union.
Now in its second year, Sonisphere 2010 is shaping up nicely with an impressive bill featuring Iron Maiden and Rammstein as headliners and other crowd-pleasers such as Alice Cooper, Slayer, Motley Crue, Iggy & The Stooges and Gallows.
