Sonisphere Festival 2011, held from 8-10 July in Knebworth, is set to release a limited number of day tickets via a power ballot scheme.
The news comes at the same time as the festival releases the day splits for the event, with organisers saying there have been an “overwhelming number of requests” for single day tickets.
Fans wishing to buy tickets should sign up on the official website before 23 May when the ballot closes.
Successful applicants will be informed which days they can buy tickets for by e-mail on Wednesday May 25.
Tickets will cost £80 per day plus booking fee.
Sonisphere will host headline performances from Biffy Clyro, Slipknot and Metallica with plenty of other bands on the billing.
