Sonisphere 2011, held from 8-10 July at Knebworth, has added five new bands and six DJs to what was supposed to be the completed line-up.
Japanese Voyeurs and Lower Than Atlantis are set to perform on the Bohemia Stage, while the Jagermeister Stage will accommodate No Americana and Turbogeist.
The Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage will host You And What Army, the previous winners of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition.
Radio DJs Daniel P Carter and Ian Camfield return to the festival to host and compere after doing it last year.
On Friday (8 July), DJs A1 Bassline and Fold perform on the Bohemian Stage, while Saturday (9 July) night sees Tek-One perform twice, following up their set on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage with a DJ set on the Bohemian Stage.
Innerpartysystem also perform on the Bohemia Stage on Saturday, while Sunday (10 July) night sees teenagers Stan SB and Alfie take over.
They join the Big Four (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax), as well as Biffy Clyro, Slipknot and more.
Tickets are still on sale, with a weekend camping ticket priced at £170.
Sonisphere earlier announced a series of Secret Sessions, where big bands from the festival will perform at intimate venues across the country.
The Sonisphere Secret Sessions will be presented by Rock Sound and will take big bands from this year’s line-up and put them in small venues.
But organisers are keeping tight-lipped about who the bands might be, saying: “The bands are so awesome that these shows will definitely sell out straight away, we can’t tell you who they are but what we can tell you is that the first event will be on June 15 at Kingston Peel.”
They’ve also scheduled sessions on June 27 at the London Barfly and on July 14 at the Manchester Roadhouse.
