Sonisphere festival deposit scheme announced

Festival-goers wishing to go to Sonisphere can now buy tickets with a new deposit scheme, organisers have announced.

Revellers will be able to pay for their passes in installments, with £40 securing a ticket for the two-day festival.

Fans will be able to take advantage of the scheme until the end of April or if the ticket allocation is fully subscribed.

All installments must be paid by 30 June, but the deposit scheme cannot be used on VIP packages.

Metallica and Linkin Park will headline the inaugural event with Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke and Anthrax also on the bill.

Sonisphere 2009 will take place at Knebworth House from 1-2 August.

Weekend camping tickets are on sale now priced at £157.50 (plus booking fee).

Other options available include a two-day pass without camping (£132.50), family camping tickets and coach options too.
