Sonisphere Festival 2012 tickets went on sale 9am today, with both weekend and day tickets available.
Queen return to Knebworth, where they played their last ever show with late vocalist Freddie Mercury in 1986, this time with American Idol finalist Adam Lambert who performed with Brian May and Roger Taylor on the show. Faith No More play an exclusive UK festival show and close the final night of the festival and Friday night headliner KISS their only festival date in Europe this summer.
Sonisphere 2012 takes place at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire from 6-8 July.
Mastodon, Marilyn Manson, Incubus, Evanescence, Cypress Hill, The Darkness, Wolfmother, Andrew W.K., The Blackout and the newly reformed Swedish punk legends Refused all join the Sonisphere line-up.
Weekend Sonisphere tickets costs £145, plus booking fees, while a three-day camping pass is priced at £170.
A four-day camping ticket for the UK leg of Sonisphere is £180.
Rock Royalty and day VIP packages are also available.
There will also be a very limited number of day tickets available for £75 – with tickets for Queen’s historic performance expected to sell out quickly.
Those buying weekend Sonisphere tickets have the option of paying a non-refundable deposit of £50 on booking and paying the remaining balance by the 1st May 2011.
