Solidays has finally secured the services of Spanish legend Manu Chao.
The ska-punk supremo is set to close the Paris festival this summer, an appearance that has been no less than 10 years in the making.
Afro-German singer songwriter Ayo, new French folk favourites Cocoon and US sensation Alela Diane are set to join Chao at the event.
Also added to the bill are Metronomy, Piers Faccini, Creature, Oxmo Puccino and DJ Zebra as well the formidable Buraka Som Sistema.
The likes of Supreme NTM, Yuksek, Benabar and Tony Allen were previously confirmed for the weekender spawned from the need to increase solidarity in fighting the global aids pandemic.
Solidays 2009 is set to take place at the Hippodrom de Longchamp, on the western outskirts of Paris, France from 26 – 28 June.
Passes for the festival range from €30 – €45. Camping tickets are going for €9 and special train and festival combo tickets are now available for €79 from a range of French cities.
