Snowside Festival – first names confirmed

Infadels and Kissy Sell Out are among the first acts announced for the new Snowside Festival.

The event, which will take place at Nassfield, Hermagor, Austria – the setting of the famous ski scene in the James Bond film 'For Your Eyes Only' – is set to be co-curated by the Secret Garden Party and Eddy Temple Morris' The Remix.

Morris is set to choose the outdoor live acts and DJs with Slagsmalsklubben, The Losers and The Japenese Popstars already booked to play live and DJ Fresh, CTRL Z, Brookes Brothers and The Qemists confirmed for DJ slots.

Secret Garden Party will host indoor parties including one in an old military border look out post with fancy dress, mulled wine vats, inflatables and live bands and DJs.

Stages include a three-room basement club, the turrets of a disused military base and an outdoor arena in a natural amphitheatre at the foot of a piste.

There are only 1,000 tickets available for the festival, which will feature snowboarding and skiing by day and secret boarder crossings, moonlit lakeside jaunts and mysterious mountain adventures by night.

Snowside Festival 2009 will run from 23-29 March with ticket packages starting from £289.
