Snow Patrol Reveal Festival Dates

Snow Patrol will play at least four major festivals this summer, giving fans all over the country a chance to see the chart topping indie rockers under the stars...

The band will play the Isle Of Wight Festival, T In The Park and both legs of V Festival.

Singer Gary Lightsbody dropped the news while standing in for Zane Lowe as a DJ on Radio One last night (Wednesday).

Snow Patrol are bound to be one of the festival draws of the summer, after their current album ‘Eyes Open’ became the surprise biggest selling UK album of 2006.

It is not known whether the band will headline any of the festivals, however they will undoubtedly be high up the bill on all four, with a headline spot of the Isle Of Wight Festival (8-10 June) the most likely.

They will then go on to play T In The Park (7-8 July) where Muse are expected to perform, before the two V Festival legs (18-19 August) where The Killers are hotly tipped to headline.
