Seven of 2009's rising stars have been confirmed for Ruisrock's Converse Stage.
Magenta Skycode and Callisto, two local bands are set to star on the Friday (3 July).
A day later (4 July) Ruisrock's fifth stage will play host to electro newcomer Le Corps Mince de Francoise, who was previously confirmed as well as garage-pop foursome The Capital Beat and electro-pop outfit Regina.
On the Sunday (5 July) Swedish duo First Aid Kit, Finnish chart-topper Anna Puu and rock trio Joensuu 1685 will take to the stage which will provide an alternative twist to the Finnish rock bash.
Slipknot, Mew and Faith No More are down to headline the festival with the dignified support from the likes of Disturbed, In Flames, Volbeat and more.
Ruisrock Turku 2009 will take place on the island of Ruissalo, just off the coast from Turku, Finland from 3 – 5 July.
Three day passes to Finnish rock festival are available priced at €105.50 (incl. booking fee) and will entitle holders to a camping spot. 2 day and 1 day passes are also on sale for €90 and €65 respectively.
Set on the shore of the North Sea, the festival will give punters the chance to mix a good dose of rock, fresh air and the odd dip in the ocean.
