Serj Tankian brings a mini orchestra to Leeds

Serj Tankian added a touch of class-ical to Leeds' NME/Radio One Stage when he arrived in a dapper white suit, backed by a mini orchestra.

The System Of A Down front-man, who has headlined the event with his metal bandmates, had a more intimate crowd with his solo outing this time around.

Fans desperate to hear old classics from his politically driven past had to settle for 'The Sky Is Over' and new tracks for 'Imperfect Harmonies' which is out later this year.

Disappointed Jen Baker, 29, said: "I thought I'd come see him as I like System Of A Down, but he wasn't that great if I'm being honest."

Reading Festival 2010 continues with sets from Guns n' Roses, Queens Of The Stone Age and more.
