Mark Ronson has claimed that his headline performance at this weekend's Global Gathering was more special than his Glastonbury show.
Performing with his Version Players, Ronson headlined his first ever festival when he topped the bill at the Warwickshire event last Saturday (26 July).
Speaking about his appearance the DJ-producer told the BBC: "It was the first festival where we were the actual headliners and it just felt there was a crowd out there just to see you.
"Glastonbury was so amazing because it's Glastonbury, but there was something about the sun going down on here – it was even more special than that I think."
Mark Ronson is set to appear at this weekend's Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, US where he will complete his festival schedule for 2009.
