Ronnie Wood wants The Rolling Stones to regroup in the time for the festival season.
Quizzed at the launch of his new show on Absolute Classic Rock on the now-annual rumours of a Glastonbury slot, Wood replied: “I’d love to do it. I’m always up for the festivals. As far as the Stones are concerned we haven’t had a get-together for three years but it’s high time.”
Perhaps Ronnie will get his wish, as last month Keith Richards expressed similar sentiments: "Everybody's ready to go out there again," he told BBC 6 Music. "Who said it should stop, and who said when?”
The Rolling Stones’ last UK festival appearance was headlining the Isle Of Wight Festival in 2007.
