The first acts have been confirmed for this year's Rock Ness as the scenic Scottish festival expands into a two-day monster...
Set in the Scottish Highlands near Inverness on the banks of Loch Ness, the second Rock Ness takes place on 9-10 June.
The Chemical Brothers will headline the outdoor stage on the Saturday, while Daft Punk top the bill in the 10,000-capacity indoor arena on the Sunday.
Groove Armada, The Automatic, The Feeling, The Cuban Brothers and Dub Pistols have also just been confirmed.
Three smaller boutique stages will also feature at the festival. Radio Soulwax will host an arena on the Saturday, featuring 2manydjs, and Bestival boss Rob da Bank will be in attendance with his Sunday Best crew. XFM will be hosting a new bands stage dedicated to breaking talent from the north.
The expanded event follows the success of last year's inaugral Rock Ness, when 25,000 festival fans flocked to the loch to see Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and many more.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday 3 March, priced £100 for weekend camping or £45 per day. They will of course be available here. Stay posted for more announcements.
