Playing Budapest’s Island of Freedom on ‘Day 0’ of Sziget Festival, Rihanna is the latest headliner to be announced for the huge Hungarian festival.

Just 28-years-old, Rihanna is the youngest female artist to have achieved 14 number one singles, won 8 Grammy Awards and 12 Billboard Music Awards.

She joins the likes of Muse, David Guetta, Sia, Years & Years, Noel Gallagher, and Bastille on this year’s Sziget line-up.

Rihanna kicked off her huge ‘ANTI’ world tour in Florida over the weekend. Among the half a dozen costume changes, the Bajan songstress went through all her biggest hits, including ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’, ‘All Of The Lights’, ‘We Found Love’, ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Umbrella’.

Rihanna will headline Sziget Festival on 11th August 2016, the festival will take place from 10th to 17th August on the Obudai (Sziget) Island in Budapest, Hungary.

The festival, which takes place along the Danube on the island of Sziget in Budapest, is often compared to Glastonbury for its atmosphere, arts and the huge variety of cultural pursuits on offer. Sziget takes place over seven days and traditionally welcomes more than 400,000 people from more than 95 countries for the seven nights of live music, arts and entertainment.

Sziget Festival tickets are on sale now, you will need a 7 Day Pass to see Rihanna.

7 Days Pass (10 – 17 August)

With the 7 Days Pass you can enter on 10th August and you can stay until the morning of 17th August, camping anywhere on the island. With a pass you can also use the shower facilities. Extra services for campers are also available for extra fees, including lockers, phone charging, enhanced security, shower and toilets.

Price: 249 EUR (approximately £193)

5 Day Pass (12 – 17 August)

Camping is included with the 5 Days Pass as well. So if you choose to stay only for 5 days, between 12 and 17 August, then you can also sleep on the Island. The same facilities and optional extras as cited above also apply.

Price: 215 EUR (approximately £166)

1 Day Ticket (excluding camping)

Price: 59 EUR (approximately £46)
