Organisers of this year's Relentless NASS festival have announced that they will host the UK's first-ever World Cup Skateboarding event.
The festival will offer a rare opportunity to see some of the most daring skills and tricks in a world class standard competition – all on a bespoke street course designed especially for the event.
And whilst the World Cup Street Skating Competition takes top billing, the Relentless Goliath Open Skate Competition and UK Open Street Skate contest are set to attract high class competition too.
Andrew Topham, Events Director at Sports Vision, commented: "We are proud to welcome the World Cup of Skateboarding to the UK at the 2010 Relentless NASS. The introduction of a UK leg of the tour demonstrates the growth of action sports in the UK and Relentless NASS will feature the world’s best riders showcasing their incredible skills. Mixed with some of the UK’s coolest bands appearing in the evening, this year’s event promises to be the biggest yet."
Those bands he’s talking about include drum n bass boys Chase And Status and pop punks Bowling For Soup who will headline with support from rapper-turned-soul-boy Plan B, rapper Tinie Tempah, Hadouken! and more.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £70 for a weekend camping pass with child and day tickets also available.
