Madcap pianist Regina Spektor is one of two names announced for this year's Latitude Festival.
The singer songwriter, famed for tracks like 'Fidelity', will appear in the Obelisk Arena alongside headliners Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones and Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds.
Fellow Americans, and one of VF's picks for 2009, Passion Pit have also been added to the line-up, the first name confirmed for the Sunrise Arena.
Other names already on the bill include Magazine, Spiritualized and Newton Faulkner as well as a host of comedy, literature, poetry and theatre artists.
Latitude 2009 will take place at Southwold, Suffolk from 16-19 July.
Tickets are on sale priced at £150 plus booking fee including camping and cark park fees. Day passes are available for £60 before booking fee.
As well as a full music programme Latitude also boasts a diverse program of art including poetry, literature and comedy.
There will be around 15 arenas of cultural enlightenment as well as a large children's area, bars, eateries and much more.
