Dizzee Rascal will support Red Hot Chili Peppers at their Knebworth show in June.
The London rapper will join the LA rockers at the massive open-air gig, which takes place in Knebworth Park, Stevenage on Saturday 23 June.
With appearances at Benicassim, Snowbombing, Wakestock confirmed, and a new album expected later in the year, Dizzee’s diary is now filling up rapidly.
Further festival and tour dates set to be announced around the release of further new material, after a free mixtape from his Dirtee Stank label appeared online at the start of the year.
Following an arena tour in support of current album ‘I’m With You’ last year, the Chili Peppers’ Knebworth show, along with their gig at Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light the day after, on Sunday 24 June, will be their only UK live appearances of 2012
They had also been linked with a host of UK festivals this summer.
Further support acts, including the openers for the Sunderland show, are expected to be revealed shortly.
Tickets for both gigs are on sale now, with the Knebworth show priced at £50 (plus booking fee) and Sunderland show at £45 (plus booking fee)
