Pete Doherty to headline Glastonbury’s Park Stage

Pete Doherty is set to headline the Park Stage at Glastonbury this summer which takes place at Worthy Farm, Somerset on 27-29 June.

The ex-Libertines frontman is the second act to get a slot on Emily Eavis’ stage after CSS were announced as a headliner earlier this month.

played a surprise solo show on the same stage back in 2007 after his band, Babyshambles, had performed on the Other Stage.

He joins Pyramid Stage headliners Kings Of Leon, Jay-Z, The Verve as well as Hot Chip, British Sea Power, Elbow, Neil Diamond and Leonard Cohenwho are all on the bill.
