Paul McCartney to headline Isle of Wight Festival

After weeks of media speculation, Paul McCartney has been confirmed as the headliner for this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

The former-Beatle will bring the event to a close on the Sunday (13 June) night with what is expected to be a career-spanning setlist.

He joins Jay-Z and The Strokes at the top of a bill that also includes Vampire Weekend, Spandau Ballet, Orbital and many more.

Tickets for Isle of Wight 2010 are priced at £150 for a weekend adult camping pass, while a child (7-12) camping ticket costs £75.

Isle Of Wight Festival 2010 will take place at Seaclose Park, Newport, from 11-13 June 2010.
