Paolo Nutini and Enter Shikari have been confirmed as the headliners for this year's Evolution Festival.
Unstoppable pop dance kid Calvin Harris, rap star Tinchy Stryder and local lads The Futureheads will join Nutini on the Spiller Stage on the Sunday (30 May).
Frankie And The Heartstrings, Twenty Twenty, Natalie Findlay and Let’s Buy Happiness will also feature on the same day.
Joining Enter Shikari on the Bank Holiday Monday (31 May) will be Mercury Music Prize nominees The Horrors, hip hop legends De La Soul and rising star Ellie Goulding.
Rising stars Dananananaykroyd, Everything Everything, Egyptian Hip Hop, Minnaars, Cosmo Jarvis and Polarsets will also play the Spiller Stage on the same day.
The event will also have a number of dance and electro acts performing on the Baltic Stage on the south side of the Tyne will performances from Fake Blood, Benga, Rusko, Scratch Perverts, Beardyman, Filthy Dukes and more.
For the first time in its history, organisers have also announced a folk and roots stage giving The Unthanks, King Creosote, Po Girl, James Hunter and The Jokers, Dawn Landes, John Smith, among others the chance to perform.

Evolution Festival 2010 will take place at Spillers Wharf, Baltic Square and BallastHills NewcastleGateshead Quayside from 30-31 May.
