Oasis have been confirmed as headliners for this year's Benicassim, as Virtual Festivals exclusively revealed.
The Gallagher brothers will join the likes of Paul Weller, Kings Of Leon and Franz Ferdinand at the Spanish festival, as the event celebrates its 15th anniversary.
Speaking about the confirmation Benicassim boss Vince Power said: "I’m really pleased to have Oasis play this year, especially as it’s the 15th Anniversary. This year looks to be one of the best years to date."
The festival is expected to attract some 50,000 fans from around Europe to the event's seaside location in Barcelona on the east coast of Spain.
Benicassim (FIB) 2009 will run from 16-19 July with tickets already on sale priced at £155 (plus booking fee) for a four-day pass including camping. Festival-goers are able to camp for a full nine-days – three days before the event begins and two days afterwards.
