Carling Weekend organisers are urging non-ticket holders to stay away from the Leeds and Reading sites as all tickets have totally sold out, including day passes.
Ticketless festival fans have been converging on both sites throughout the day, following reports that tickets are being sold at the gates.
However, one of the organisers for the Carling Weekend told VF: “There’s no truth in these reports and we’d urge people to stay away as they’re not going to get tickets. All tickets for both sites have completely sold out.”
Better news for people who have got tickets is that the weather is looking good at both Reading and Leeds. Following a bit of rain today, temperatures are forecast to rise over the weekend with blue skies and highs of 23 degrees. It’s expected to be damp underfoot for sometime though following heavy rain this week.
