US hip-hop stars Nicki Minaj and Pitbull head the list of new names announced for Wireless Festival 2012.
With the follow-up to her debut album ‘Pink Friday’ nearly ready to go, Minaj will play the event as special guest to Drake on Saturday 7 July.
Dance sensations Nero will also play that day, alongside sets from newly-solo N-Dubz and X Factor star Tulisa, Pendulum side-project Knife Party and London-based Nigerian singer D’Banj.
Pitbull is confirmed for the following day (Sunday 8 July), when Rihanna heads the line-up. A second X Factor star will play too, with Cher Lloyd set to take to the stage that day as well.
Electro wunderkind Madeon, hotly-tipped rapper A$AP Rocky and South London girlband Stooshe complete the latest round of new additions.
Wireless Festival 2012 takes place in Hyde Park, London from 6-8 July.
A headliner for Friday 6 July, and further acts on all days, will be announced shortly.
Calvin Harris, Example, Professor Green, Jessie J, J.Cole, Rizzle Kicks and Wiz Khalifa are among the other acts already confirmed to play across the weekend.
Wireless Festival tickets for Saturday 7 July (Drake headline day) are priced at £49.50 plus booking fee. Tickets for Sunday 8 July (Rihanna headline day) are priced at at £52.50 plus booking fee. A limited number of two day Wireless Festival tickets are now available (for Saturday 7 July and Sunday 8 July) priced at £97 plus booking fee.
