New names announced for Boomtown Fair 2012

Caravan Palace, Jack Beats and Natty are among the new additions to the Boomtown Fair 2012 line-up.

Dirtyphonics will headline the Arcadia stage on Sunday night, while The Beat and Dub Pistols are new for the ska, swing, punk, rockabilly stages, along with The Slackers, Gadjo, Sick Note, Pronghorn, Sonic Boom Six, Swing Zazuou and Gypsy Hill

Newly added to the ragga, dub and dancehall stages are Bush Chemists, Serial Killaz, Laid Blak, Jaya the Cat, The Barley Mob and Demonlition Man.

Meanwhile, fans of drum ‘n’ bass tunes have new names in Chris Liberator B2B Dave the Drummer, Shy FX, JFB, SL2 and Ed Solo.

Further acts, including more headliners, are expected to be announced.

Reel Big Fish, The Skatalites, Asian Dub Foundation, Caspa, Breakage, Stanton Warriors, Gappy Ranks, Blak Twang, The Nextmen and Ratpack are among the acts previously announced to be appearing this year.

Boomtown Fair 2012 takes place at Matterley Estate, Winchester on 9-12 August.

Boomtown Fair tickets are onsale now, with a limited amount of Weekend tickets priced at £109 (plus £5 eco deposit), before prices rise to £114 (plus eco deposit).
