New artists added to Iceland Airwaves Festival

Rolo Tomassi is amongst the many new artists added to the Iceland Airwaves Festival.

The Brit synth band have been announced alongside counterparts from other countries including Canada, United States and France for the festival, held in various venues in Reykjavik from 13-17 October.

Keeping the home-grown emphasis, more Icelandic acts have been added: Angist, Apparat Organ Quartet, Benny Crespo's Gang, Deep Jimi and The Zep Creams, Feldberg, Hafdís Huld, Kimono, Klink, Ólafur Arnalds, Sometime, Jónas Sigurðsson, Króna and Foreign Wisteria.

Of those already billed, most notable are Robyn and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Early bird tickets are still available (€80), but only until 1 September – so hurry!
