Names added as Frequency moves site

FM4 Frequency changes venues as the festival announces a host of big names.

The Austrian event has moved to a site in the town of St Polten, adding a seventh stage and a lot more in the process.

Mando Dialo were announced as bill toppers today alongside Farin Urlaub Racing Team and American hardcore metallers Rise Against.

Culcha Candela were also confirmed for the August event, as were The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Enter Shikari and The Subways.

The Sounds, Kettcar and Mono & Nikitaman were the final names added to the bill together with Volbeat, Dúné and UVM.

FM4 Frequency 2009 will take place from 20 – 22 August at Green Park in the town of St Polten, Austria.

Tickets are yet to be released.

The new site has given rise to a new ‘festival within a festival’ feature this year which will go by the name of Daypark – Nightpark. As it says on the tin, the Daypark will provide a peaceful series of daytime gigs and activites before things really kick off in the Nightpark.
