More theatre, poetry and literature for Latitude

Latitude bosses have added more names for in theatre, poetry and literature for this year's festival.

Mark Steel, Danny Wallace and David Pearce are among the names added to the Literary Arena, while Patrick Lappin, Nathan Filer, Byron Vincent and Ruby And Her Whorses will feature in the Poetry Arena.

Theatre lovers will be treated to performances from School Of Night, Theatre 503 and Mercury Theatre, while Look Left Look Right, Mouth To Mouth, Leonard and Tangled Feet are among the plays set for the Outdoor Theatre.

Today’s additions join a line-up that already boasts Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Editors and Doves.

Latitude 2009
will take place at Southwold, Suffolk from 16-19 July.

Tickets are on sale priced at £150 plus booking fee including camping and cark park fees. Day passes are available for £60 before booking fee.

As well as a full music programme Latitude also boasts a diverse program of art including poetry, literature and comedy.

There will be around 15 arenas of cultural enlightenment as well as a large children’s area, bars, eateries and much more.
