With just over a fortnight to go, two up-and-coming bands The Concretes and The Infadels have been added to the already brimming V Festival line-up.
The two exciting new additions will play at both legs of the event on the Music Choice Stage, an arena which aims to be the place for festival-goers to witness some heart-stopping performances from ‘the next best things’.
The Concretes are a sugary pop collective of Scandinavians, who have been compared to The Cardigans. They recently released the single, ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’.
The Infadels are Hackney-based funk-disco punksters, who recently won ‘Best Electronic Act’ and ‘Best Live Act’ at the Diesel U Music Awards.
The V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on 21-22 August.
This year’s line up features The Strokes, Dido, Muse, Pixies, Kings of Leon, Badly Drawn Boy, Primal Scream, Massive Attack and Jamie Cullum.
All tickets for the two events are sold out, apart from a few remaining day tickets for the Staffordshire leg.
Virtual Festivals will be at both sites providing extensive coverage, including reviews, interviews and photos
