More additions for Reading and Leeds

Plain White Ts, Henry Rollins, Pete & The Pirates and Jeffrey Lewis are among the latest acts confirmed for the Reading and Leeds festivals.

Organisers have unveiled the first details of the Alternative Stage, which will feature Henry Rollins performing a spoken word set (Saturday-Leeds, Sunday-Reading) and the multi-talented cult artist Jeffery Lewis (Friday-Reading, Sunday-Leeds).

Plain White Ts and electronic punk band Mindless Self Indulgence have been added to the main stage (Friday-Leeds, Sunday-Reading).

Pete & The Pirates join the NME/Radio 1 Stage (Friday-Reading, Saturday-Leeds), while on the same day Tiger Army, The Briggs and Blackhole have been added to the Lock Up Stage.

They join headliners Rage Against The Machine, The Killers and Metallica, plus Queens Of The Stone Age, Bloc Party, Tencious D and many more.  

The sold-out Reading and Leeds festivals take place from 22-24 August.
