Isle of Wight line-up starts to flesh out.
[R-Zone1]Already hosting a meadley of superfine acts including The Who and David Bowie, Isle of Wight organisers have announced that Suzanne Vega will be playing at this year’s Isle of Wight. Whilst as yet they have not confirmed which day she will be performing, they say that “the inclusion of Suzanne Vega in terms of both musical style and gender is a welcome addition to the festival line up and should be a treat for all”.
Hot off the press is also the announcement that The Delays will be joining the line up for Sunday alongside Davide Bowie and The Charlatans.
And as if not content with extending the festival to three days this year, there will also be a number of other events held in the Isle of Wight between the 4th and 19th June. One of the first to announce their aappearance has been Midge Ure who will be playing at Ryde Theatre on 5th June.
This year’s event takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th June.
Tickets are now on sale, priced at £75 for the weekend, £35 each day, £15 for camping and £75 for each campervan. Children aged 12 and under cost £37.50 for the weekend and £17.50 for each day.
