More acts announced for Beautiful Days

Dance chameleon Tom Middleton heads up the latest acts confirmed for this year's Beautiful Days.

Kidda, The Living End, Mr Nice and Howard Marks have also been confirmed for the Devon bash alongside The Fabulous Good Time Party Boys, Martin Harley Band and Mellow Park with Sian Evans.

Organisers have also confirmed that Maxxi P, Uno, Destruction and Aural Imbalance will all perform over the weekend alongside MC Jonny G, Dread MC, Mello D, Ben And Lex, DJ Andromeda and James Gill.

There will also be comedy in the Big Top from Duncan Oakley, Jeff Innocent, Martin Soan, Liam Mullone, Keith Platt, Mitch Benn, Barry Castagnola, Garry Delaney with compere Scary Dave.

Festival bosses have also confirmed that the Sunday night theme will be ‘Flower Power’ – so think retro, psychedelic, hippie and, of course, floral outfits.

Today’s confirmations join headliners The Pogues, Hawkwind and The Levellers along with Pendulum, Dub Pistols, The King Blues and more.

Beautiful Days 2009
will take place at Escot Park, Devon from 21-23 August.

Tickets are already on sale at £100 for a weekend camping pass. There are children tickets and campervan passes available too.

The festival is the brainchild of The Levellers and it boasts live music over five stages, family camping, a huge children’s area in the centre of the festival, food & craft stalls, real ale bars and onsite art with many more acts yet
