Massive Attack, with special guests Young Fathers, will headline this year’s Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park on Friday July 1st.

Bristol’s leading trip-hop alumni returned earlier this year with the ‘Ritual Spririt’ EP, their first studio material since 2010’s ‘Heligoland’.

Their headline performance will pair the band’s full live show with a new visual-led experience, designed by Robert Del Naja and longtime visual collaborators United Visual Artists.

On the support bill will be Patti Smith, the legendary proto-punk singer-songwriter and poet who shot to fame with her 1975 debut ‘Horses’.

TV on The Radio, Warpaint and Ghostpoet will also play the all-dayer in London’s iconic Hyde Park which will feature a number of live music stages and local artisan food vendors.

Florence and the Machine and Kendrick Lamar were previously announced as co-headliners to play British Summer Time Hyde Park 2016 on Saturday 2nd July.

Mumford & Sons will headline their own day on Friday 8th July, Take That on Saturday 9th July.
