Mark Ronson set for Ice Camp at Volvo Snowbombing

Organisers of Volvo Snowbombing, set to take place from 4-9 April at the ski resort of Meyrhofen in Austria, have revealed details of an exclusive set from Mark Ronson.

The award-winning producer, known for working with some of the biggest artists in the world including Adele, Christina Aguilera and Amy Winehouse, is set to perform at the Volvo Ice Camp.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to playing the Volvo Ice Camp – It’s always cool to play unusual venues and it’s the first time I’ve played a set in an Igloo!”

The camp gives the opportunity for 350 competition winners to take a mini trip to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier in Kaprun, a hybrid car showroom and party venue in the form of four giant igloos which feature a barrel sauna, heated Jacuzzi and an ice-climbing tower.

Joining Ronson at the Ice Camp, described by organisers as “a sub-zero soft play area for big kids”, will be Sophie Lloyd, club veteran and disco queen.

Visit the official Volvo Snowbombing website for more details.

Ronson and Lloyd join Fayboy Slim, The Prodigy, Tinie Tempah and Pendulum on the line-up for the six-day winter sports festival.
