The Maccabees have leaked the next Bestival 2011 announcement, revealing that Pendulum will headline the Friday (9 Sept), while PJ Harvey, Kelis and the Village People are among the other latest names confirmed.
A line-up poster appeared on the group’s website with new acts for the music festival which will take place at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight from 8-11 September.
Big Audio Dynamtie, The Drums and Paloma Faith have also been added along with Noah And The Whale and Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May.
Rob da Bank then took to his Twitter to confirm a sea of new acts including Mogwai, Clare Maguire, Toots And The Maytals, Patrick Wolf, Global Communication, Graham Coxon, Cut Copy, Metronomy and Zola Jesus.
Modeselektor, Jungle Brothers, Caravan Palace, Venetian Snares, Health, Beardyman, Asian Dub Foundation and Fatboy Slim will play as well.
Pete Tong, Andy Weatherall, Andy C And MC GQ, Congo Natty, Loefah, Joy Orbison, Skrillex, DJ Derek have also been added alongside Claude Von Stroke, Doorly, Tensnake, Julio Bashmore, Bok Bok and Emalkay.
Wretch 32, Gentlemans Dub Club, Macka B And The Roots Ragga Band, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip have been added too.
Ms Dynamite, The Unthanks, SBTRKT, L-Vis 1990 And The Neon Dream, Ed Sheeran, Dry The River, Frankie And The Heatrstrings, Eat Static and Los Campesinos! round off the latest announcement.
The Cure, Brian Wilson and Public Enemy are among the acts unveiled previously with Primal Scream set to play ‘Screamadelica’ in full.
Bestival 2011 tickets are on sale now priced at £160 for a weekend camping ticket, £150 for a student ticket and £80 for a 13-15 years weekend ticket.
Those 12 and under go free but must obtain a ticket, while campervan tickets are priced at £65.
