Liverpool Sound City 2011 unveils day breakdowns

Liverpool Sound City 2011 has announced its day-by-day programming for this year, having also made single day wristbands available.

On Thursday 19 May, acts including The View, Frank Turner, Steve Mason, The Whip, Yuck, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Wretch 32, Pete & The Pirates, Dutch Uncles, Wolf Gang and Dinosaur Pile-Up are set to play.

On Friday 20 May, The Black Lips, Willy Mason, Miles Kane, Clinic, Young Knives, Cults, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Set Your Goals, Ed Sheeran, Three Trapped Tigers, Wave Machines, Kid British and Colourmusic are among those performing.

Saturday 21 May will see the likes of Funeral Party, Cast, Mona, Sound Of Guns, Fucked Up, Spank Rock, Jamie xx, Philip Selway, Yasmin, The Phoenix Foundation, Lower Than Atlantis, Fly With Vampires and Young Legionnaire onstage.

Three-day wristbands for Liverpool Sound City 2011 are on sale now, priced at £45, with day wristbands ranging from £22.50 to £25.

There’s also a separate £25 wristband offer which gives access to the city’s Hub Festival, taking place on May 21-22, at the city’s Otterspool Promenade.

It features the likes of The Blackout and Funeral For A Friend, and fans can also gain entry to all of O2 Academy Liverpool’s 14+ Sound City shows on May 19-21.
