Outspoken pop starlet Lily Allen has been confirmed as the Sunday (10 May) headliner for this year's One Big Weekend.
The ‘Smile’ star heads up a slew of acts including Franz Ferdinand, Scouting For Girls, Akon, Ne-Yo and Alesha Dixon, who will also appear on the same day.
The Enemy, Maximo Park and The Gossip have also been confirmed today, performing on the In New Music We Trust stage along with Enter Shikari, Tinchy Stryder, Chase And Status, Ladyhawke and White Lies.
Joining the other headliners Snow Patrol on the Saturday (9 May) will be Kasabian, Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris, The Script and The Wombats as well as Daniel Merriweather and The Saturdays.
Also announced for the same day, but on the In New Music We Trust Stage are Basement Jaxx, Doves, Jack Penate, Friendly Fires and Deadmau5. Florence And The Machine, The King Blues and Fightstar have also been confirmed for the arena.
Radio 1’s One Big Weekend 2009 will take place at Lydiard Park, Swindon from 9-10 May.
20,000 tickets per day are set to be handed out for free with the majority going to residents of Swindon and other local areas.
Those wishing to attend must register first with registration opening tomorrow (15 April) at 8.15am.
