Lightspeed Champion steps in at Benicassim

Lightspeed Champion will replace the otherwise 'engaged' Futureheads at this year's Benicassim.

The Sunderland band have had to pull out of the festival as guitarist, Barry Hyde, will be getting married around the same time as the event.

However Chromatics and Aldo Linares have been confirmed to play alongside DJ Supermarket, who will also be appearing at Saturday Night Fiber, a one-day spin off festival held in Madrid on 19 July. Click HERE for more on Saturday Night Fiber.

Benicassim (FIB), which takes place at Benicassim, Spain from 17-20 July will feature performances from Morrissey, My Bloody Valentine, Babyshambles, Sigur Ros, Hot Chip and The Ting Tings.

Organisers have also announced the day-by-day breakdown for the festival. Click HERE to see the line-up.

Tickets are still available at £132 for a four-day pass. Click HERE to buy.
