After the Reading leg of the Carling Weekender completely sold out last week, music fans have rushed to snap up all the remaining weekend tickets for its northerly sister show.
[r-zone1]Confirming the Leeds sell out, Mean Fiddler Managing Director, Melvin Benn, said: “This is brilliant. Last year was the best we had ever had and managed to sell out on the weekend of the festival. To sell out of weekend tickets with more than a month to go really demonstrates that Leeds and its new home has arrived and that the bill is as awesome as I thought it was.”
There are still a small number of day tickets left for the Leeds Festival, however these are expected to sell out very soon so be quick!
Green Day, The Darkness and The White Stripes headline both legs of the Carling Weekender, which takes place at Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds over the Bank Holiday Weekend 27-29 August.
[l-zone2]Some good news though for Super Furry Animals fans, who may have missed out on tickets for Reading/Leeds. The band have just announced plans for a short festival warm-up tour in August.
