The line-up for the Saturday of this year's Wireless Festival has been announced with LCD Soundsystem and 2manydjs heading up a dance-orientated bill.
Three times Grammy Award nominees LCD Soundsystem, whose 2007 album ‘Sound of Silver’ received widespread critical acclaim, will be performing on the back of their new as of yet untitled record, due for release in April.
2manydjs (aka Soulwax) will be aiming to crowd-please with their impressive electronic rock mash up sounds.
Also playing on the Saturday will be American turntable and producer maestro DJ Shadow, dance music legends UNKLE and recent NME Award winners The Big Pink.
There are also new additions to the Friday line up. Joining Pink, who has already been confirmed as the headliner that day, will be London-based rapper Plan B, US pop-punks Bowling For Soup and UK teen rocker Daisy Dares You.
Jay-Z headlines the Sunday (4 July) with Lily Allen in support.
