Kylie tour leaves Glastonbury gap

Kylie has announced details of a huge tour which leaves the door open for a potential headline set at Glastonbury on Saturday or Sunday night.

The Australian pop princess was due to headline the final night of the festival in 2005 before she cancelled after falling ill.

But the hot money is now on her filling the prestigious closing slot, following the announcement of her European tour.

She plays Belfast on the Friday (27 June) and then has no dates until 5 July in Glasgow.

Both Michael and Emily Eavis have said they would love to have Kylie at the festival and following her own disappointment at missing out it would certainly represent the iceing on the cake to her comeback.
